Correction to Notice of Meeting and Management Information Circular

Simberi Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE: SAU) ("Simberi" or the "Company") - Simberi wishes to announce a correction relating to the location of its Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders (the "Meeting") contained in the Notice of Meeting and Management Information Circular issued by the Company on June 26, 2006. The location of the Meeting was incorrectly stated as 200 Toronto Street, Suite 20. The correct address is Ontario Bar Association Conference Centre, 20 Toronto Street, Suite 200, Toronto, Ontario, M5C 2B8. The meeting will be held at 11:00 am.
